Farris Marcum Joins PBK Bank |
|
Bruce Edgington, PBK CEO announces the
addition of Farris J. Marcum to their staff as a loan
officer.
Farris has served in the Lincoln County
business community for 21 years before joining PBK Bank.
He is a member of the Stanford Lions
Club, having served as President. Farris also serves as
a Board member for the Lincoln County Parks and
Recreation, Stanford Architectural Review Board and
Lincoln County Senior Citizens. He is President of the
Lincoln County Football Booster Club.
Farris is currently serving as Deputy
Coroner for Lincoln County. Farris and his wife, Evonna,
with their children, Chase & Chelsea live in Stanford.
He is a member of Stanford Baptist Church.
“We feel it is not only our job to offer
our customers the best services and products but also to
strengthen our institution and community by hiring
employees like Farris. He is well known in the area and
will be an asset for PBK Bank.” says Edgington.
Marcum will be providing loan services at
the Hwy 150 Office in Stanford. |

receives Interior Journal “Best in the Business:
Readers’ Choice Awards” |

On
October 21, 2008, Lincoln Counties Interior Journal
published its annual “2008 Best in the Business:
Readers’ Choice Awards,” voted on by the citizens of
Lincoln County recognizing local businesses for their
achievements and contributions to the community.
PBK Bank was voted “Best Place to Work,” “Most
Community Involved Business,” and “Best Place to
get a Mortgage.” PBK Bank loan officer Janet
Elmore-Johnson was also voted “Best Loan Officer.” |

Bank Receives Readers' Choice Award |

PBK Bank was voted the
Best Place to Purchase Home Mortgage Loans, by
the readers of The Advocate -Messenger. This award was
part of the 2008 Best in the Business Readers' Choice
Award. The awards were decided upon by the readers who
voted and recognized those who have provided the best
service around. |

Eric Ralston Receives Promotion |
|
PBK
Bank announces the promotion of Eric J. Ralston to
Senior Vice President and Director of Lending. In his
new position, Eric will oversee the entire loan
department and will assume a position on Senior
Management Team.
Eric
is a Lincoln County native, graduating from Lincoln
County High School and Eastern Kentucky University with
a BBA in Business Management. He is also a graduate of
the KBA School of Banking.
Eric
is a member of McKinney Christian Church. He is an 8th
grade Coach for Boys Basketball at Lincoln County Middle
School. He is involved with Heart of Kentucky United Way
by serving on the Community Investment Panel, Day of
Caring and Co-Chair of the bank’s United Way Campaign.
Eric is active in Lincoln County Relay for Life and Big
Brother Big Sister’s Bowl for Kid’s Sake with PBK Bank.
He serves as President of the Stanford Rotary Club and
as a Lincoln County Chamber of Commerce Board Member.
Eric also participated in the first Leadership Lincoln
class.
In
making the announcement, Bruce Edgington, Chief
Executive Officer, stated, “PBK Bank is pleased to
promote Eric. It is always an honor to promote from
within our organization and recognize our employees for
their hard work and dedication. Eric has shown a work
ethic that is deserving of this promotion and will

Rotary International Four Avenues of Service Citation. |

CEO of PBK Bank Bruce
Edgington recently was awarded the prestigious 2008
Rotary International Four Avenues of Service Citation.
This award is given to one Rotary member per club
annually for exhibiting a consistent commitment to the
core commitments and values of Rotary International.
The four avenues of
service are Club Service, Vocational Service, Community
Service, and International Service. Lincoln County
Rotary President Mike Jackson said, "It was my honor to
award Bruce with this rotary award. Bruce, through his
service to our community and commitment to projects
international, is the perfect recipient of this award." |

Renner, has been awarded yet another award for her
outstanding service in United Way of Kentucky. The
Outstanding Kentucky Volunteer Award is presented
annually to individuals who have shown exceptional
leadership, vision and dedication to the United Way
mission.

Lincoln County Chamber 2008 Citizen Of The Year |

Retail Banking Manager of PBK Bank Mae
Renner, received the 2008 Citizen of the Year award,
given out by the Lincoln County Chamber at the annual
Chamber Banquet. The Citizen of the Year award is given
annually to an individual who exhibits a strong
commitment to the community though their hard work and
dedication.
Mrs. Renner is very active in her
community through a variety of organizations such as the
United Way, Junior Miss, Lincoln County Relay for Life,
her church, and many other organizations. |

Renner, has been awarded the 2008 American Cancer
Society Mid-South Division Community Volunteer of the
Year award. Mrs. Renner received the award for her work
with the American Cancer Society and the Relay for Life.
The Mid-South Division includes
Alabama, Arkansas, Kentucky, Mississippi, and Tennessee.
